Kyle Patrick Smith is an author, speaker, workplace thought leader, entrepreneur, and Founder & CEO of HRKyle Services, where he helps employers and individuals navigate the constantly changing world of work.

Before becoming an entrepreneur, Kyle spent 28 years in corporate Human Resources leadership, working across industries including transportation and logistics, chemicals, consumer products, banking, construction, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, and technology. That experience gave him a front-row seat to what happens when organizations get people and leadership right—and what happens when they don't.

Today, Kyle brings that experience to conversations about leadership, hiring and recruiting, workplace culture, employee experience, performance management, careers, workforce strategy, AI in the workplace, and the future of work. His perspective is intentionally practical. He isn't interested in HR theory for the sake of HR theory. He talks about what actually happens inside organizations and how employers, leaders, employees, and job seekers can make work better.

Kyle is also the creator of "The 95% Rule," his leadership philosophy built around a simple idea: most employees come to work wanting to do a good job. Yet organizations routinely create policies and management practices designed around the small percentage of people who might take advantage of them. He also contributes expert commentary to journalists and media outlets on workplace trends, HR, recruiting, careers, leadership, AI, and workforce issues.
